We wrapped up another wonderful season here at Severn Lodge in October. Now that November is here, old man winter isn’t far off and we’re already dreaming of warm sunny days on Gloucester Pool next year!
Located on Georgian Bay in the Muskoka District of Ontario, Gloucester Pool is home to Severn Lodge. Being right on the lake offers guests a wide variety of water activities. Here are some of the Gloucester Pool adventures we look forward to sharing with our guests in summer 2017.

Enjoy building sandcastles and other fun beach activities while catching some much-needed rays. If you’re looking to hit the water, use one of our canoes, pedal boats, kayaks, or stand up paddleboards to cruise around Gloucester Pool. Experience the landscape as you paddle your way around the water, just try not to tip over! If a boost of adrenaline is what you’re looking for, try your luck at jet skiing, water skiing, or tubing. Everyone will have a blast racing on the water.
Gloucester Pool also offers plenty of fishing for those wanting to spend a relaxing day on the water. Why not rent a fishing/motor boat and bring home a delicious catch. Large and smallmouth bass are quite popular. Walleye, northern pike, muskie, and panfish are also yummy finds. Upon arriving back, fillet your catch of the day for a fantastic fish fry.
We’ll be open again for families, couples, and meetings on May 22nd, 2017. Remember, if you make your 2017 reservation and prepay by March 1, you will receive 2016 rates plus a 5% discount! We tend to fill up fast so it might be a good idea to look through our web-site and starting planning your next summer vacation. Winter is on it’s way to Ontario and while the snow will fall soon, It’s never too early to be dreaming about Gloucester Pool.
