To the United States of America: happy 4th of July! As our closest neighbor and long and faithful friend, we join with all of you today to celebrate your independence day. You are the greatest and most important force for good in the world today, and we honor and thank you for that. Remember, fellow Canadians, to tune in to all the celebrations tonight on NBC and PBS.
