Building an Itinerary
Once you settle in, all it takes is one look around the property to realize why we’re one of the best family resorts in Ontario. Check out some of the activities at Severn Lodge to fully understand all there is to do during your stay! While our daily itineraries are subject to change, we’d like to take a moment to go over what a typical day at Severn Lodge could look like.
Morning
You can start your day with a cup of joe while taking in the beautiful sunrise on our screened-in front porch, followed by a freshly prepared breakfast. After breakfast, the little ones can enroll in our daily supervised Kid’s Club Program and enjoy a jam-packed day of fun and excitement while mom and dad enjoy some “me” time! Perhaps enjoying our family scavenger hunt will work up your appetite for lunch.
Midday
After a hearty Muskoka lunch, why not set off on an afternoon jet-ski adventure to explore the shores of Gloucester Pool. Water lovers will enjoy the many fun lake activities such as canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and pedal boats. Bounce around to your hearts’ content on our inflatable water park or try to catch the “big one” aboard one of our fishing boats. Land lovers can play a round of shuffleboard or challenge the family to a game of beach volleyball. Imagine the look on your childs’ face when they see our Birds of Prey Show on the front lawn. Be sure to check-in with the front desk to confirm your dinner seating time.
Evening
After a full day of activities with your family, sit down and enjoy a lovely dinner where everyone can share their favorite parts of the day. After dinner, a family vacation wouldn’t be complete without gathering around a beach bonfire, enjoying smores and singing songs. As the kids start to get a little tired after a full day of excitement, everyone can unwind with live evening entertainment in the Regatta Room, including the likes of musicians, magicians, karaoke, etc. Or simply relax and enjoy in-room movies to close out your day at Severn Lodge.
